I think I used the third one (the harmonic one) before this ;)

SPOILERS!

1. Edge of Tomorrow
2. Gravity
3. Divergent
4. Identity Thief
5. Source Code
6. Limitless
7. The Gray
8. ?Step Up?
9. 21 and Over
10. Need for Speed (very clever, the absolute sign!)

I don't know any of these movies except Gravity ._.

Most of them are pretty new

The Seven Steps, I think (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2036464/)

Haven't heard of 21 and over but I know there is a movie called Grown Ups (with a sequel).

8 could also be The Seventh Floor (it is the floor function).

Why is 6 limitless? We don't know if the limit exists for that function.

@mfb Limit + less (than)

3 could also be "Infinity" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0217571/) as the sum approaches infinity.
8 could be "The Staircase" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0152588/) as it is the staircase function.

4 = The Matrix

I can't figure out the "negative standard gravity" one?
